Planning the next short trip with GATOR and BAMBY - five day in the Taunus area, near Frankfurt am Main. We'll start wednesday, 06.21., and I think, we'll have great fun.

Yesterday I had some probs with the 550. I fetched a rain barrell from the garden market and the 550 had some probs in the hills...

Probably chew the stock style tires up quick driving on asphalt roads.

Do you have any type of regulations on what kind of tires you must use? Being able to drive on the roads legally. Most of the stock style tires have not for highway service printed on the sidewall.

When I was doing my research I believe you are correct - tires here would have to be DOT approved. Also full turn signals, horn, etc.

Wolfgang - I always enjoy your pics and am so envious of you being able to travel the roads over there. This pic with Emilia is just precious!

Where I grew up, we had no gators. And today, for me a Gator Day must be green and yellow

I don't own a Gator, but my cousin has one on his farm. I occasionally take care of things while he is on short trips or on vacation.
Just so happens that he is on vacation this week and my granddaughter is staying with us for 3 weeks. We are taking some joy rides on his Gator while she gets to learn how to drive one and operate it.

This 825i Gator is 7 years old and has 6000+ miles on it. All on the farm. A few minor issues, but nothing major. The canvass top is showing wear and tear.
