    Picture is filter relief valve
Spring free length is 2 9/16"
When compressed to 1 5/16" should take 9.5-10.5 lbs
Look for broken parts or stuck parts. Use a new O-ring when reinstalling.

There is also a "Surge Relief valve" located the right side of the transmission case.
It will have a Hex plug with O-ring and a pin pressed into the inside (back side perpendicular to the face of the hex), then a spring then a ball.
    Spring free length 1 7/8" Compressed to 1 1/8" with 30.5-37.5lbs.
I could not find a picture in parts.

That I checked and cleaned a few times now but system still not working. Also, how and where do I check on the filter bypass valve?
    Thanks again!
( I also have determined from JD Parts Schematics my pump is 2.4 cu in if that helps)
P.S. I am slowly getting more familiar with my baby... until now all I've ever had to do was change some oil/filters and put a little air in the tires! Is the flow control valve (beside screen/canister) what I should looking "into" or inside? Is that the bypass valve in question? If so, can I just remove it to clean it up?
HI-LO would have a lever like the throttle on the left dash.
Pump filter is in the pump. I posted a parts picture. Posted the 2.40 pump. That was the optional pump I've not seen one. My 2030 has the smaller 1.38 pump. Not refering to the suction screen which is by the canister filter.
Filter bypass is near the canister filter, above it IIRC.
Check the spring and check for stuck parts.
Surge Relief valve is further forward Near brake pedals if IIRC.

That would be the transmission pump. It's internal. Takes a split at transmission to clutch housing to get at it. A dealer can check it's flow with a flow meter. You might be able to check it pressure. 170psi if IRRC.
It's a gear pump, two gears driven by the engine.

It also supplies reverser or HI-LO and independent PTO if you have those options.
