I think this site jinxed me. My swithch has never had a problem until last nite. I had to jiggle the switch to get the headlights to come on. The extra lights came on just fine. Hopefully my new tractor will come in soon and I won't have to worry about it.

Mine has never slipped out of 4wd. I know what your saying about the rust. I think we just notice more when we get it home.

Same here. And it appears that I have the faulty FEL valve, too.

I just remembered that I blamed you for ordering the 2032R. Wow, this is becoming a habit.

Sometimes I have to just put the bucket down and just drive into the garage to make some room.lol (just joking, don't do this)
I only had trouble taking my deck off in the garage once when I first brought it home. Mainly because it was not set up right and the learning curve of knowing when it's working right. Just make sure when you unhook and back up, the deck is not moving with you at all. If deck slides sideways any, don't try backing over it. Stop, pull forward, get off and realign deck, look under and make sure everything is going to clear. If loader is still on, make sure you raise it enough not to slame into deck when you back off deck.
Hope your enjoying your new equipment. They are really handy once you learn how to use them properly.

Thanks for all your input on this. Made it easier for my brain deadness.

What all do you guys keep on hand for parts, pieces (LOL)? Is there by chance, a list of necessaries for regular maintenance this thing? Do you buy the JD lubes? How often do you lube the spindles on the mower? I have a habit of hitting those every time I mowed. Around 15-20 pumps in each on my old mower. Deal said at most around 5 in each on this?? I still need to run to the dealership and pick up a manual for the deck and take my nitrate pills so I can have a look at priced of their grease. But I'm willing to save if there is such a thing. I can't say I've ever seen the stuff the used on the loader. Stays nicely balled up in the joints it's suppose to lube......nice.

I think I got a full mow in now, with 3/4 left in the tank. Nice, I would have went thru 5 gallons of regular on the garden tractor. Now she sits in the garage waiting out the heat wave. Time to wiper her down.
