    JD7230 3pt won’t raise

For some reason our 3pt won’t raise but to the height of the pic shown, never has been an issue to after we took out of the barn after sitting for a month or so. Checked all controlls inside and adjusted to top height, but no luck. Is there something I’m missing or can try

It may actually raise higher than pic, maybe another 2” but not all the way to full height

Do you have any warning lights or error codes displayed? Sounds like the hitch position sensor may be bad.

Here is a diagram of the sensor I mentioned. No guarantee of this being the problem without proper diagnosis. Even if it is the problem, the rockshaft will need to be recalibrated after installation for proper operation. It is actually possible no parts are needed if calibration has been lost, calibration alone might fix it. If BCU controllers are ever reprogrammed, it wipes out the calibration and it needs to be redone.
