    3020 Gas final drives

I see in the manual that there are supposed to be pipe plugs on the axles.....of course the fenders are in the way, and they are supposed to be pulled and a grease fitting installed and then grease goes in. Are the final drives different than what I have described?

Plugs(key 7) that require removal to install grease fittings are on the outermost end of axle housing away from any fender mounting bracket. Greasing these installed grease fittings lubricates the outer axle bearing. 4-5 pumps of grease annually is normally adequate.
