    4640 clutch

My sons 4640 JD clutch does not lease completely. If I put the clutch in and try to put the transmission into gear it will roll ahead a bit as it slides into gear. Can that be adjusted and how?

    Welcome to GTT
1st thing you need to do is check clutch pressure because clutch is hydraulically controlled. Test port is on LH side behind battery box. IIRC the pressure should be 155-165 psi. I think there's a pedal adjustment but no adjustment on clutch operating piston.
