Hello all, quite some time ago I posted a photo which I obtained with very low hours (2200 only and genuine). Well, I have just about completed the refurbishment and have driven it to it's first rally about an hours tractor drive away from home via country roads towing my heavy duty tilt tray trailer transporting my 1930 Case Model C tractor. The main jobs on this consisted of a cab reline, total repaint, new front tyres, and replacement of the 3PL load control shaft, bushes and seals.. The air conditioner is the remaining main area requiring attention and will require a new compressor and hoses at least. The original seat only required a clean up and the joints lubricated. The cloth upholstery showed no wear and only requires several applications of upholstery cleaner. Foe the early part of the tractors life, it was only used with a sugar cane planter on the linkage and a front mounted spray tank to plant the new sugar cane crop each season. It has not done any drawbar work as the pin hole still has the original machining marks in the bores.
The 4th photo shows our granddaughter Scarlet on the steps and grandson Regie in the battery powered Gator which he loves to drive around our yard as well as having rides beside me in the enclosed cab of the 4040
