Three point hitch won't raise on John Deere 4020.

My dad is working on a John Deere 4020. It is a 1965 model. His three point hitch won't raise. This is his question:

"I replaced the load control shaft and seals at the bottom of the transmission. I put the load control level in "D" before this. I also put new oil in it. Now the three point hitch won't raise."

If you guys have any ideas, please let us know. It seems like he is really stuck on this.

    Thank you!

Sounds as if follower(key 8) moved from it's normal position in rockshaft control linkage. One can remove rockshaft control valve housing to relocate follower back to correct location.
