    fork frame/adapter question

I was wondering if the fel to 3ph adapter will work without the qh? I want to put a 3 point bale spear on the
    FEL, and that's About it.

    Thanks!!!!

The answer is 'no'. It turns out that it costs less to buy a moderately priced quick hitch for use with the Artillian adapter than to incorporate the features needed to fit up to bare 3pt attachments. Also, when considering the overall project, a high number of people already have their 3pt attachments converted for use on a quick hitch. For those that don't, it's often the last straw that gets them to finally convert.

To use a bale spear on the Artillian frame, the recommendation is to use the 2" Receiver adapter. You can buy spears that fit into 2" receiver tubes. The gussets on the adapter serve not only as strengthening gussets, but also as anti-rotation features for the bales.
