    The Cave

The "cave" ground breaking was actually started back in Oct. 2013 before the rain and snow came by getting the concrete work done. The contractor wanted to do everything in the Spring of 2014, but I didn't want everything rutted up with concrete trucks. The building got started in Apr. 2014 as this was how the contractor had it scheduled. I completed everything I wanted to get done just this week. I may end up insulating later. Here are a few pictures of my 24'x36' cave with an 8'x16' porch.

That appears to be a pole barn style, but I do not believe I have ever seen one with the vertical studs that close together. What brand of barn is that? I may be building one in the near future and that has stirred my interest.

It's sitting on a concrete slab.

It looks like traditional "stick built" construction, with the purlins and girts added to support the vertical metal siding and roofing. So, sort of a cross between two building styles.

The way sheds are framed will very from region to region and builder to builder. The way this one is framed makes it a bit easer to insulate and finish the inside.

I think the type you are used to seeing are more cost effective for those that have no intention of finishing the inside.

You did a monolithic slab on yours, correct?

Edit: Never mind your building is a pole building. Just call me brain-dead.
