I realized I've been a bit delinquent with my tractor work photos so here are some of the tractor house currently underway.
The lean-to is comprised of two separate lean-tos. Each has a surface area of 12'x12'. Taking into account the overhangs the connected structure has a usable floor space of 10'x24'.
The skids are 2x8s scabbed to the sides of the 4x6 posts. At some point I will be adding a set of 4x4 between the 4x6s on the rear section to support a 10'x6' shelf to store the 403 and 60D. The tiller and future box blade will set under said shelf.
The rafters are 2x6 x14' at a 3:12 slope (little to no snow load in the south).
The thought behind breaking the structure into two separate pieces is to make it mobile for when I have a barn to put it up against or.. I can put them together along the roof ridge line to make a shelter style structure either for animals or to put down by the pond.
As you can probably tell from the photos I have one roof on and am starting to link the two sections together before putting the roof on the second half.. theoretically the roof should match up perfectly, so far - so good.
