Hoping that someone knows what this is for - probably a livestock pad of some sort

We have an old property that was part of some farming in the past and around the back of the century barn, I uncovered a concrete pad that I am not sure what it's for. I suspect that it is for livestock either shearing, or grooming, or killing or...

Maybe one of you know? The barn was set up for horses but who knows what prior.

With the short door on the left, it may be the base for a silo. What is the diameter of the round pad?

Now I look like an a$$, Jason posted a minute ahead. In my defense, I did provide more detail.

I'd almost be willing to bet on that. Way to easy to have a feed silo sitting right there with easy access to the barn through that door/hatch.

Yup, that makes sense; round and everything.

    It's 140" diameter.

Yep, that's what it is......a portal to an extraterrestrial dimension.
Don't build any campfires on it, that would surely attract wayward Klingons looking for roasted marshmellows.
