Lock the gate up, have two people if possible and a ladder. You will get somewhat of a workout if you do all of them. Have the splices end up at the rear of the machine where you can lace it out in the open. I think there is something in the owners manual that clears it up much better than I can describe here. If I remember right, lay the belts out behind the baler and start routing them from the bottom rollers, thru the rollers and end up going over the top roller on the rear gate and have the splice at working height. One other thing, leave an old belt on one of sides to use as a routing guide in case you forget how they are routed. While the belts are off, it will be a good time to check the bearings in rollers for any roughness. I have replaced several bearings in them and it is much easier to do it now, than latter. My cousin burnt his baler up due to a bearing going out and he did not catch it will baling. As a matter of fact, he did not much match attention at all to his equipment at all will running it. He tore up a lot of equipment by not listening and turning around and watch it while using it, but that is another story.

I hope you can decipher what I have written, as it is sometimes hard for me to put my thoughts into words. I have the knowledge, but hard to put it into words.

Scratch what I had written and watch this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LTvvtw2bT_A

I have probably put on 2 sets of belts on a 530 and baled up 30,000 in 10yrs, just wish there was an internet years ago. Been doing it wrong all along.
