    NH 450 to JD 4005

    I have a problem hooking a NH 450 to a JD 4005. Any advise?

Is your 450 a round baler, or sickle mower? What type of problem are you having, is it something with the hitch or the PTO shaft?

It is a sickle mower and it is getting into my lift arms. I am not much of a farmer, but if I can get it hooked up I will use it to clip fields.

If you can get a photo of what is hitting where we can probably help you figure it out. Some sickle mowers are designed to catch underneath the lower three point arm.

The 451 sicle bar mower can need an accessory part which kind of spaces back the top link spot on the tractor. Not sure if that is your issue or how much different a 450 is from a 451. There are more steps in setting up the 451 I have than one might expect. Do you have access to a manual to that mower?

This accessory part isn't in the manual but I have seen one in person.
