    Replacing concaves

I'm replacing a concave on a jd 9600 it looks like it's bent??? the plate that you bolt on the front of it has 1/4 in space on both sides with putting a straight board on it you can see this. this is the third one I've gotten and the part house says it's right. A few friends that have replace concaves says that's not right. Has anyone else had this problem??? Look really close at the bottom of the board

Are you sure that the board is square?

yeah...I'd use a level, or a big framing square to gauge with...unless you've run that board through a joiner, it is most likely not straight.......

Is one of the bearings shot? Wish I could help more... we haven't run a walker combine in close to 15 years.
