    Block heater redue on 110

Block heater I recently put in quit working after being used only three times.I replaced it with a JD block heater witch turned out to be the exact same part .Just a lot more expensive ;But if it lasts I will be good with it. Do not know what was wrong with the first one.

Did you test it? Take a volt/ohm meter and read the resistance across the two pins. It should be a low number. If it reads infinity or open, then it burnt up. They will usually last for years and years without any issues. The main problems block heater typically have is either too low of a coolant level that allows them to overheat, or the cord connection is bad.
