    Ct332 running rough, stalling

Hello, I have an 2006 CT332 rubber track loader, after 8 hrs operating fine, started running rough then eventually stalled out. Checked all fluid levels were fine. Still had half tank of fuel and on level ground. Cranked once wouldn't start, then cranked longer and came to life and ran another half hour fine then same thing happened, let cool off and had to crank a lot more to get started again, hard to achieve operating rpm with throttle. Several more times this happened but was able to complete job. In between when it did run it ran fine till the next flare up of rough running. I suspect fuel filter issues or bad fuel/ water in fuel? Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions? Hope I didn't hurt my baby!
    Thanks

    Welcome to GTT!

I'd start with the basics. Change the fuel filter(s) and inspect what's in them as they come out? Is there any contaminants? How often is the filters changed? is your tank clear and clean? Drain a bit of fuel (if you can) from the tank. Was there water or any other debris? Your Owner's manual should describe the fuel filter priming procedure if it's required. Perhaps you have an electric fuel pump. Is it running with ignition on, engine off?

    Ct332 running rough

I changed in line fuel filter and water separator fuel filter and problem went away. It had been 400 hrs since in line filter changed and not exactly sure how long water separator filter changed. This is the one I'm thinking was the culprit.
    Thanks

Kinda an older thread but I've had a similar problem on an 08' CT322 due to clogged fuel filters which only had about 100 hours on them. Deere recommends you drain water from the fuel water separator every 10 hours, I made a habit of replacing fuel filters at every 100 hour oil change to minimize fuel system troubles on my 317 or my neighbor's CT322.

Another user with a CT332 problems. HELP!

I purchased a used CT332 with 100 hours logged. Changed oil and hydraulic fluids and filters. Running OK x 6 months except overheats using implements on steep hills. Sudden change 2 weeks ago. Surging, acting like a fuel filter problem. Changed fuel water seperator and in line filter. No change. Opened fuel cap and ran to ensure not a clogged fuel vent. No change.
    1. Does anyone have a fuel system diagram?
    2. Is there a lift pump in the tank? It looks like I need to remove or move the alternator to check this.
    3. Is there a screen or filter on the intake tube in the tank?
    Any help appreciated.

I'm not an expert but I have had similar problems with mine.

There is a transfer pump on the side of the engine. It is about $90 at the dealer. I had mine changed once it got to where it would not start. My machine began surging when running it sometimes it would smooth out and sometimes not, then it would not start at all. Sorry to say that did not fix it. Deere came an got it and began working on it. They put new injectors in and still could not get fuel to run. They had another one in the shop that they were working on and did some comparing. I believe it was the governor rod had disconnected, came loose or something like that.

$4000 later and it is running again.

    Good luck, hope this helps.
