    air compressor 4024t jd

Hello all. Working on a Sullivan Patatek air compressor with a jd 4024t. It's a no start just rolls over puffing black smoke. It has had its fuel cutoff solenoid replaced and it clunky loudly hitting bypass when starting. Glow plugs are fine, plenty of fuel in tank. 900 hrs. Pulled the fuel line off filter down stream of pump n cranked 15 seconds. Only got about about a tablespoon of diesel out of pump. Oil level is correct n clean. Anyone have a spec for pump output? Remainder of info off block.model D210011JDB Engine PE4024T063315
I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks Dan

Turning over 15 seconds should get at least 4 ounces or so I would think. Fuel line frozen or water in fuel tank frozen? I know nothing of this model but you should get more fuel than that.

Called my local dealer for specs. 1st he's never laid eyes on one, but spec per service manual is "fuel should flow out of line when cranking engine, and pressure qauge t'd into line should read 10 psi @2400 rpm." Without using glow plugs I gave her a few light shots of wd40, no change. I'm beginning to think cam drive gear has perhaps moved shifting timing or it has one or more bad injectors.
It's a 2005 900 hrs and on its 3rd starter. Without a service manual and special tools purchase I'll have to return it to my customer and have him take it to a different shop. Thanks
