    Frozen Dessert

This something new that we thought was outstanding. Sharn Jean made it for dinner at the Elks a few days back, and got raves. Thought I would share.

    SARA'S FROZEN SALAD/DESSERT

    Beat:
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 cup sour cream

    Add:
    2 T lemon juice
    1 large cool whip
1 #2 can (abt. 15 oz size) crushed pineapple and juice
1 small jar maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 cup pecans, chopped
    3 bananas, mashed

Put in a 9 x 13 glass pan and freeze.

Any recipe that has 1.5 cups of sugar and a large container of Cool Whip HAS to be good!

That sounds wonderful! Need to find a group of friends to share it with, or I'd likely eat the entire thing!!

Who is coming to my place for dessert?

In spite of my extensive vocabulary, I could not find the words to give expression to the answer I so wanted to give.

Somehow, when I typed that, I figured some of you would have your minds in the gutter!

What would you call this recipe so I can add it to the cookbook? Is "Frozen Dessert" what you want?
