    Taco Soup

This is one of Sharn Jean's favorite cool weather recipes. I like it a lot too! It also makes good leftovers.

    “Taco Soup”

    Ingredients

    2 pounds ground beef

    1 medium yellow onion, chopped

1 package dry Ranch salad dressing mix

    1-16oz. can Ranch style beans

    1-16oz can pinto beans

1-10oz. can of Rotel Tomatoes. Hatch makes an equivalent product.

Fresh or canned green chiles, to taste (chopped)

    1 package dry taco seasoning

1-16oz. can of whole kernel corn

    3-16oz. cans diced tomatoes

Brown Meat in stew pot, drain fat and add remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat until hot.

Suggestion: Sharn Jean usually makes a pan of cornbread to go with it.

Is this one a repeat of the one in the cookbook?

Oh, yeah, Heckydarn! I couldn't remember if I posted it before; I checked the Cookbook and missed it. My memory isn't what it used to be, besides, my memory isn't what it used to be. I offer my apologies.
