These are yummy! The recipe below is exactly as we received it, comments and all.
PECAN PIE BARS
1 8 oz Crescent Rolls (I used a Pillsbury pie crust)
3/4 c chopped pecans (I used 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c corn syrup
2 T butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg - beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9 x 13 pan (I used a 9 x 13 cookie sheet and it worked perfect and lined it with parchment paper) press dough firmly to seal all perforations. Bake 8 minutes.
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over crust. Bake 18-22 minutes longer until golden brown.
Cool 1 hour and cut into bars.
