    Closing or deleting thread

I had an item posted in For Sale. I just sold it on Craigs List. Is there a way to delete the thread or at least change the title to sold so people don't waste time clicking on it. Posting 6,10,30 entry's down that it is sold is not that helpful. Thanks

If it is beyond the window of time that you can edit the original post, just make a reply anywhere in the thread and the staff will see that and close the thread.

    What didn't work?

You responded in your for sale thread that the item was sold and Blake closed it correct?

Generally threads are not deleted after something has sold. Keeping them around makes for good information for the next sell or buyer of something similar.

This is exactly why we don't delete threads.
