Announcement - Photobucket images no longer working

    Hello,

Photobucket.com has recently changed its terms of service for free users on their platform. As of June 20 images hosted by Photobucket and shared on our forum, or any other third party sites, will no longer appear. As a result, you may notice a higher amount of broken images on the forum.

If you do not have access to edit your older posts please contact an Administrator or Moderator for assistance. Please provide the new URL for the image that needs to be edited and a link to the thread the image in located in.

More information on the change and what it means for Photobucket users can be found below.

    Thank you

Agreed. We're hoping we can develop a fix for this, but that's still just starting

I just saw on another forum I visit that I got "zapped" by the new rules as well. Are there any suggestions for a new hosting site, understand some options might be personal preference but anything out there that's been pretty reliable?

That's just crazy. Seems they would lose a lot of business.

Anyway. I can't figure out how my "test" picture is still available. Post #5 on the following thread. The snow picture. I don't pay.
Or is it only viewable by me? Which I doubt

Several plugins for Chrome have popped up that bring Photobucket images back. I searched google for "Chrome Photobucket Fix" and picked a recent, highly rated plugin.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=chro...=1508720619418

I do not know if this is a permanent fix, or if it will get shut down, but it certainly has brought a lot of old forum threads back to life for me.

I understand that there are Firefox extensions too if that is your thing.

    Hey,

Thanks for the recommendation. These Chrome extensions tend to be temporary as PhotoBucket shuts them down as soon as they get wind of them. The most future proof method of posting images is by direct upload. Others have suggested Imgur as a viable solution.
