Firefox browser issue - anyone else?

Anyone else running into this annoying stuff??

I installed a security update download from Firefox last weekend and ever since have been getting "your connection is not secure" messages when browsing GTT. It does not happen on any other websites or forums. Looking further at the messages Firefox is complaining that the certificate does not match the website. I clicked through the advanced info section and somehow got to where is said the certificate was for "guitarscanada" and not GTT. I click 'go back' when seeing this and it does send me back to GTT on the previous page i was on.

It happens when inside a thread and going to the next page, when selecting a thread initially, when selecting 'todays posts', etc, there doesn't seem to be a pattern on when it pops up.

I have also occasionally got the 404 error page not found, mostly when clicking on 'todays posts'. The 404 error has a little Canadian flag in the top tab where the GTT tractor shows up.

I cleared all cache and it did not help, i ran Crap cleaner and it did not help, ran malware bytes and it did not help. I have Avast anti virus software running, made sure it was up to date, did a scan and it found nothing.

Any ideas or suggestions? Maybe i have a virus within Firefox hijacking my GTT stuff?!?!

edit to add....just got this error trying to reply to a thread...

I found the certificate list in the certificate manager tab.....wow there are a lot in there. How do you tell if it is a valid one or a spam / virus one?

I am going to use Chrome for a while and see if i get the same issues. I doubt that i will, i am pretty sure it has to do with that Firefox update.

What John said at the end of that thread is pretty much what I would say, though better put perhaps. I'll just add that we are still preparing to add https to the site but that we still can't give you an official timeline. We're planning on rolling this out across our whole network, so a lot of testing is being required to make sure that when we do so, we don't break the site functions.
