You can edit your post for up to 12 hours, but after that only a mod or admin can do it. It is vet time consuming for us though, and we have to be on a laptop/desktop machine so often we just leave them as is.

GTT forum software does not have the ability to edit photos.

Its how the forum software reads the files off a phone. Unfortunately vBulletin does not have a way to correct this, you would need to rotate the image within image editing software and then re save it.

If you can edit the post, you can delete the picture and upload a new one. You can not edit the picture from the site itself that I am aware of. You have to fix the picture in a photo editor.

I have had no success rotating pictures in photo editing software and then re-uploading. They still are rotated after uploading them.

The only real thing that I found that works is, turn your phone sideways with the picture taking button to the right when taking pictures. Then they upload correctly.

Sorry my answer was not thorough enough. As others have said when you edit the post you can delete the attachments, then re-upload them after they have been fixed with a photo editor on your local machine.

Forgive me for intruding on this post, although, I have had the same problems in the past. The problem is, as I see it anyways and, for sure, I am far from an IT guy, when I take a picture and open it inside photo editing software, it is always oriented the correct way. When it is uploaded to GTT, it is then rotated. So, if you rotate the picture in photo editing software and re-save it and then re-upload it, it is still rotated in GTT.
So, I have just given up on trying to correct picture rotation. I make sure I hold my phone side ways with the picture taking button to the right, problem solved!!

Some phones have a setting to "save pictures as previewed". In my case on a Note 8, there is a little window that shows how your picture will be oriented. No matter how I hold the phone, the picture is always oriented properly.
