When I want to add a photo it is rotated.

It is not rotated when in other software I use.

How do I rotate it for this forum?

    Many thanks

Lots of people have this problem with this forum's software. Check this link for best answer I know of to prevent it:

    correct picture orientation

I use PC with Windows 10 and once a picture is posted wrong a copy can be downloaded and rotated and re-posted.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

This is what I tell people to do.

Create a folder on your desktop. Name it maybe, Rotation Test.
Move the image to this folder
In the upper right you will see a small image with a drop-down arrow. Click this and change it to Extra Large Icons.
Now the image will be view-able to see the orientation.
If the image needs rotated, right-click the image and choose which way to rotate from the listed options.
All fixed for uploading or viewing on your computer.

When I do the photos from my phone, I save them to my desktop via email sent from the iphone. Then I use the Windows photo editor to just open and save a copy back to my desktop. Then I post to the site. I always preview post before submitting just to be sure.

Works everytime but it is a bit of a pain.
