Is the current photo attachment method going to be permanent?

I'm curious if the current method of embedding photos is going to be permanent or is it a problem that is being worked on? Immediately after moving to the cloud the photo display worked fine. Then sometime later it changed to just displaying links that you have to click on - WHICH IS TERRIBLE!!

    Just curious.

Umm, no. Not at all. VS is experiencing LOTS and LOTS of issues with the cloud move and https upgrade. They say they are working on it but haven't given us a timeline on when to expect fixes to these issues.

There should be another line added to your name, showing what browser you are using.
I use Chrome, and someone recommended a fix for viewing pictures,,, I added it to my laptop,
you simply hover over the link, the image pops open.

Move to the next pic link, the next one pops open,,,

I do not know if phones and other browsers have this feature,,,
    etcallhome and BigJim55 like this.
Some of the tractors include JD 4105, JD 855, JD 650,,,, and,,, the IH 584 4WD
My favorite attachment is the homemade landplane,,, EVERYONE needs one of those!!

That’s good to know. I thought it was something new because I haven’t been on in months and i hated it. I’ve skipped over a lot of pictures because of it. I only use my iPad and iPhone.
I took a few months off because Every single time I’d get on I’d get an amazon pop up which made me have to reload. Made me so mad i took a break. So far so good. Zero amazon ads. I take that back. I’ve had a few amazon pop ups but I just clicked the x and it went away. That’s not to bad. Before it would take me to a completely new page and I’d lose my spot in the forum.

I'm positive they are working on it and will have it done before Christ comes again.

I wonder if the admins have checked the settings?

    https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...ts_gen_options

View Attached Images Inline (default: Yes, display thumbnails)
Other choices are ‘No’; ‘Yes, full size’; and ‘Yes, full size, but only if the reply has only one attachment’.

If this option is set to any variant of ‘Yes’, you also need to set the Thumbnail Creation option (below) to a variant of ‘Yes’.

Set this to ‘No’ if you want to preserve bandwidth or server processor resources.

    Thumbnail Creation (default: Yes)
Whether or not to all thumbnail creation.

Other choices are ‘No’; ‘Yes, with border’; ‘Yes, with dimensions’; and ‘Yes, with border and dimensions’.

If your version of PHP supports image functions, setting this option to ‘Yes’ enables the creation of thumbnails for images. This is the “master switch” to enable/disable thumbnail display.
