    Upload attachment button

You need to move that upload attachment button to where it is viewable without expanding that attachment selection screen. It's barely all there even with the screen/window expanded.

I like the way the attachments are shown almost as though they were loaded from a URL, like in TBN. In TBN, the attachments end up as little bitty things unless clicked on.

That unfortunately is something embedded deep in the forum software, so it's not something we can really change. TBN us using a different and modified version of vBulletin, the software that drives the forum.

Can you provide a screen shot or something showing the button you are referring to? I don't see any hidden buttons when I upload a photo or attachment. Just curious what you are seeing on your end.

That's becasue your using the "inline" attachments button in the toolbar not the "manage attachments" button under text window.

I stopped using that until VS fixes the double attachment problem we've had for 6 MONTHS now, and I complain about every week to them.

Hmmm... I somehow missed the comments about that method eliminating the double image post. I then assume the OP is talking about the "Upload" button being over on the right, almost out of sight?

That method works for a single image but it is hard to tell a story with images that way.

I have to slide the bar at the bottom to find the "upload" button.
I wish there was something showing that it is actually uploading, like a percent bar that goes zero to 100% I have to wait and hope.

If you scroll down a bit, or expand the window you can see what attachments are there and finished uploading. No "hoping" is required

I just found out a couple of days ago that if I use the "WYSIWYG Editor" for making posts, it shows my attachments twice. If I use the "Standard Editor", it doesn't do that. I quickly switched back to the standard editor.

I believe that if you look at the bottom left of the browser when it's uploading, you'll see the progress. Not quite as cool as a progress bar, but still usable. If it's a really small file, it comes and goes pretty quickly.

EDIT: Now that's pretty whacky! I originally uploaded that picture of my FEL because it's a big file and I wanted to do a screen capture of the progress indicator. When it was done, I deleted the "[ATTACH=CONFIG...." codes and figured I was done with it. But now it shows up as an "Attached Thumbnail". How can I get rid of that in the future?

    Mark,
You have to go to the advanced editor, then scroll down to manage attachments to remove it.
