    Editing a thread

Why can I only edit a Thread...per day?

Seems like after 1 day I loose the ability to edit posts ..or the thread title itself.

Did I miss somthing or ....whats the dealio/rule/or/ other circumstances?

It's a limit that set in the forum software. We have it set for this time period so you can edit within a 12 hour window. That's generally enough time to catch an error and get it corrected. After that time has elapsed, you'll need to contact a staff member to get something edited.

BTW, once a title has been created, only a staffer can edit it. There isn't a method for a member to edit the title after a thread has been created.

Also, after that time limit has expired the staff is more than happy to make the changes you need. It is what we do.

P.S. the time limit is for security reasons.
