Lightbulb Cargo Box Lift - BM25188 - Trouble shoot

Can you help me trouble shoot? The lift is in and works great.

3 issues that maybe you can help with.

    1. Switch is reversed. up button puts the bed down and the down button puts the lift up. - the switch only fits in the plug one way.
    2. The lift does not operate if the key is in the on position or if the gator is turned on and running. It only works with the ignition in the full off mode.
    3. The lift operates with NO key in the ignition. is this the way it is designed?

I'm assuming you have a HPX since that is what that model lift kits is designed to fit into.

No, that isn't the way it's designed. According to the operator's manual, the lift kit should only function when the key is in the "ON" position.

    Something is wired backwards somewhere.

    GATOR HPX 2005 - BM 25188 - Troubleshoot

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I plugged in the harness and they only fit into certain ones. can it be the lift harness? can it be the main harness?

Any ideas would be great. Thanks
