    Clutch on 6x4 gator

How difficult is it to replace the primary clutch behind the driver seat on a gas engine 6x4 gator? At the moment you have to push the machine where you want it because it won't go in gear.

The primary clutch is the clutch on the engine. The secondary is on the transmission.
To replace the primary clutch its one bolt and a special to to remove the clutch from the tapered engine shaft.
To remove the secondary clutch remove the belt guard first, then the belt. Carefully hold the clutch and remove center bolt. Then the clutch just slides off the transmission input shaft.

So the secondary isn't supposed to be engaging the belt in neutral correct? Or do replace the secondary and if that didn't fix it do the primary too?

The secondary clutch will turn in neutral. Once its in gear it will stop spinning. At idle the secondary is closed and the belt should be all the way at the top. The primary will be opposite, clutch open and belt all the way at bottom. It will spin the belt at an idle. Make sure idle speed is not too fast. Makes for hard shifting.
Can you post a pic of what your seeing?

How do you get a new drive belt back over the clutch pulleys? I've been working at it and can't get it on.
