    NTM 22B Cart

After a 626 mile round trip yesterday, we brought home a new-to-me 22B cart to use with the "TS" Gator:

It will also be used to haul one of the smaller lawn tractors in parades:

Cool idea with the extendable ramp holding bar.

    Lowell,

Nice score on the 22 cart ! These are essentially a model "21-wide" cart (and quite similar to the regular model 21 and the earlier AMT II cart) with special fitments and a long ramp tailgate to accommodate golf course equipment -- greens mowers and bunker rakes, as I recall. Here is the standard 21 cart series illustration showing years of manufacture of each style:

Here is a copy of the owners information:

The parts catalog is a section in the PC2211 along with the 5, 7, 10, 15 and 8HD carts:

Looks great behind your Gator !!

    Chuck

BTW--in my neck of the woods these go for less than a 30 year old 80 cart in poor condition...

I'd looked for an AMT II, 21 or 22 for years & never found on in this area! ~~ Lowell

Chuck, I noticed too, that in your last link the picture is "representative" & not the actual cart for sale, tells me the ones for $250-$300 aren't in good condition! The ones I've found listed were all $500 or above, even the poorer ones. ~~ Lowell

Working on a pair of flat-top fenders for the 22B today:

I had to stretch them just a little bit, then weld a 1" spacer on the back side:

Took some time to get them fitted just right:

A little filler to smooth out the welds before painting:

    Looking good Lowell!!

Nice work on the fenders... The 21 wide carts have the wheels under the bed and don't need fenders -- but the load height of the raised bed floor is not as good for loading heavy equipment like your custom industrial model 70 lawn tractor. Higher beds are good for dumping loose material like grass, gravel, etc. but the low bed trailers are best for loading/transporting equipment for sure.
