    Powergard Protection Plans

Hi All: I received some info regarding extended repair coverage from John Deere (PowerGard). I purchased a new 2038r in January and I believe it has a pretty good warranty. Do any of you have or recommend this protection plan? Thoughts?

Deere's "protection plans" are no different than anyone else. It's a huge profit center. Like with any insurance you have to decide "do you feel lucky?". If your tractor has been trouble free during the warranty period and you do the routine maintenance chances are you will be fine.

I believe you have until the last day of warranty to enroll in the protection plan.
