    Forum Maintenance

FYI DeereTalk users, the site will be down today for up to 4 hours to perform some needed forum maintenance. No problems are expected after it's complete.

Thank you everybody for you continued support and patience.

    Angry Forum Maintenance ?

Whats up Kennyd? Is this when the ( Thanked 0 times in O post came on ? ) I just noticed this and can not imagine you have never been thanked or appreciated. Now I'm reluctant to post anymore because I'm an unmarked man and will be shunned for life?

    Oh yea Thanks

I have no idea...our server company told us this morning when I posted it, but I haven't noticed anything strange today. We have no control over the timing unfortunately.

We added that the other day and got rid of the "did you find this post useful" thing that we had.

    Exclamation

I have found a lot of the posts on this site useful and ignored the little click button thing over on the side because I am interested in the topic, not taking a " Poll ". I still don't understand the tally other than bragging rights?

You should combine the three topics Forum Maintenance, Thanks Button, And Revised Rules, Policies, and Guidelines.
This was a great alternative to the other forums, and I am thankful I was invited to participate, But I do not understand having a new member needing answers to problems he does not understand, or know, for lack of knowledge to be rated a ZERO.

The 'Thanks button' is not a rating system, merely a choice provided to all members to show appreciation for a useful post.
DeereTalk has grown considerably over the last couple of months and we are making adjustments in certain areas simply to ensure members enjoy their experience.

I'm not sure why we should need to combine the topics as they are all completely separate changes and individual threads for each item allows members to comment on a particular change !?

    UPDATE:

Our site was down a bit this morning and should be fully functioning for the rest of the week. I will try to let you know more about next weekends shutdown once I get more information.
