    Uship

Anyone ever use this company to ship / haul equipment? I have found a tractor in Perryville, Maryland that I'm very interested in but living in Alabama may hinder the purchase. This company accepts bids on your haul / shipment and you take the one you like best.

My father used it for one of his cars he purchased. Worked out very well for him. He was able to pick the guy and give instructions as to how he wanted things shipped and exactly how the manufacturer wanted the car strapped. He had a good experience.

I have only read positive things about them-never used them though.

Thanks for the replies and what you said re-enforced what I have read also. But the tractor was sold before I could line up the shipping. Bummer.

Yeah, big time. The first tractor my dad ever owned was a 1941 LA John Deere. I finally found one in Maryland but couldn't close the deal before someone else did. By the time I found the tractor using a "Wanted ad" on Craigslist, there was one guy from North Carolina ahead of me. It was his to take or turn down first and he took it.
