    Wooden tool totes

Here are a couple of tool totes I made yesterday. They are reminiscent of a tote I have from one of my grandfathers. The sizes were determined by the left over clothes pole pieces I had for the handles.

    Previously, I've made 3 others, all 24" long. These 2 are 13" and 16".

As I looked at these, I thought that, made out of a rot resistant wood like redwood or cypress, they might make cute little portable tabletop planters. Put some herbs or small veggies in them, and it would bring a whole new meaning to "farm-to-table".
