The antique tray, follow up to my wooden phone.

You might remember my wooden wall phone project.

The wood came from an antique dresser that I had to demo. As I laid out the phone, I left enough of the curved, molded front edge of the dresser top for another project.

    Here it is.

The back and sides are the saved front edge of the dresser top. The front is a section of a drawer front, complete with original lock. And the bottom is reclaimed oak wine flavor sticks. The red color is from the wine, not a canned stain.

The handles are the original drawer handles.
