    Milwaukee band saw stands

These look like a handy dandy projects for those that own a Milwaukee or similar type band saw, they would be good for making square cornered angle iron joints.

I think that would be real handy for those guys who work out of a truck on a daily basis.

Great idea MJ, never gave that a thought. I use mine to hack things off, I would never attempt to use it to make a finish cut. I stay about 3/16 away from a cut line and grind down to it.

Unless you've got a lot of blade wander Tackit, I'll bet you can get closer than 3/16" to save yourself some grinding.

I know my decrepit body wouldn't want to be on the floor hunched over making cuts on a regular basis; but I can definitely see a use for the stands.

At one time didn't some company make or have horizontal arm type "band saw" type table for sale ?

All you had to do was bolt your xxxxx model Milwaukee portable band saw to it.
Think it also sat the saw in the upright position for use that way.

This is a lot nicer vertical application for the saw. And handier to move and store.

    Thanks for the idea.
