Hydraulic leak on quick hitch for blade

Found I had a leak on my quick hitch on the 2025R. I connected the blade for the first time onto the new hitch and went out to plow. Things went fine till I saw yellow streaks in the snow. I thought that maybe it was coolant. Got back into the shop and quickly saw I had a hydro leak.

Finding the problem was quick and I snugged up the nut in the picture and so far, no leaks.
I was down a bit of hydro fluid so that is topped up.
Iíll take it out tomorrow and put it thru itís paces to make sure the problem is fixed.

A good lesson to check all connection points when something is new

Apologies for the sideways photos...I know better!

I like to put the JD red dye in my fluid... makes finding leaks in the snow a snap.

I had the same thing happen to me when mine was new. The setup guy at dealership left one connection a little loose and it showed up right away. Enjoy your tractor
