    hydraulic fittings right or wrong

so i've got most of my lines together for the top and side link cylinders, but this one came with the cylinder from surplus center, but i don't think it's designed to fit the one i have on the hose. the fitting on the hose is kind of tapered inside with a o-ring. It will tighten down tight, just didn't want to hook it all up with these in question.Click image for larger version.

The 90° fitting looks like female swivel NPT, but they do not use an O-Ring.

I agree, 90* swivel NPT. The fitting on the cylinder looks like straight fitting?

yes it's a 90 degree swivel NPT. My concern is it's beveled inside fitting and the other is not, will it still seal with adhesive on the threads. seams to me the one on cylinder should be beveled to match, but yes it's just flat.
    Thanks

The fittings that come on that cylinder are supposed to be NPT. I replaced them with -8 JIC 45° fittings to accomplish what you're trying to do. I had to adapt my 36" JIC hose to 1/2" NPT at the other end for the tractor hook ups, but it works well if you want to try that route.

    Here's what I ordered:

The cylinder itself is BSPP thread.
