    2320 box blade recommendations

Anyone have recommendations with size and weight?

I've been looking at the EA XTreme duty 48 and 54 but not sure what size would work best.

You will be happier with a 54" unit, but it's over $600, so I guess that it's the 48" unit for you. You really want to be as wide or wider than your rear tires.

I agree with MtViewRanch - wider than the tires is best.

Why extreme duty? The reason I am asking is if your gonna work the snot out of it, a 54" may be more than you have power/traction for in a heavy duty application.

I would think that a standard duty 54" box blade would hold up pretty good behind a 2320 (unless you beat the crap out of it).

If you have a heavy duty job, then you might be best off with the 48".

i have a 2320, 48 inch box blade and 60 inch landscape rake. the smaller box blade does require me to make more passes than if it was a 60 inch. however, it does bog the tractor down a bit when the box is full so i think a 60 inch might be too much for the 2320.

the 60 inch landscape rake is perfect.

you can usually find decent used box blades around if you aren't in a hurry and keep an eye on craigslist.

    hope this helps.
