I picked up this plow from an auction in the fall and finally had the ability to try it out. It is a 78" Curtis plow with JDQA and hydraulic angling. It is an older model, but it was in great shape and all I needed to do was change the hoses and couplers. It works really great and is much better for cleaning off the driveways than the big brother. The visibility that having the plow out front on the loader is great. Knowledge of running equipment like this goes a long way to making it easy, but anyone can get the hang of it pretty quick.
I moved the curl circuit to the 4th SCV (controlled by lever over Rt Rear fender) and put the 3rd SCV in its place so I could have left/right action right on the joystick. I run the curl all the way up and hardly have to touch the curl lever.
Enjoy the pics:
And this is the pair of plows... The 1976 Chevrolet C50 has a 9' blade that can take care of the 1/2 mile road we live on in four 30mph passes. It isn't pretty, but it is a good tool...
