    Couple of questions from a newb

    First off, love the forum, lots of very valuable info. I was however a bit disappointed to find absolutely zero results when searching for “755” Is my tractor so awesome there has been no need to post anything about it? Ok seriously 2 questions for now;

    1. As I stated in my new user intro, my tractor is VERY used. I have a 70 series loader with a 48” bucket and the bucket is close to its last days of service. Is there any place to buy an aftermarket bucket without having to drop close to a grand for a new green one? I have considered just fabbing a new one, but not having any sheet steel just laying around, I am afraid by the time I pay for full sheets I would probably be in the same price range of just buying a new one.

    2. My tractor currently has R3 tires and like the bucket, they too are on their last few days of service. I would like to change to R4s but can only find the exact replacement size for the front. I understand tires and as long as I keep the same tire diameter the overall final drive ratio will not be affected but I can’t even find a replacement R4 tire in the 33” range.
    Here are my current R3 tire sizes
    23X8.5X8 Front
    33X12.5X15 Rear

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry I can't help with the loader but it looks like you will need different wheels and tires. JD parts lists:

    I recommend Miller Tire for tires and they may be able to get you wheels as well.

    Looking for JD Parts check here on JD's official parts website.

    Have no idea where to start with JD Parts check here for a how to.

    As far as your searches, the forum software does not like 3 letter/number words to search. There are a few members with x55 series machines.

    Finding a bucket that will easily fit will be next to impossible, so I'd look at used if can modify it to fit, or rebuilding the one you have.

    There is a set of R4's for sale right here in the forum classifieds that should work for you. the rears are approx 33" tall when inflated and new. I own the same set, so know that for sure. Not too bad a price for wheels and tires (the rear wheels are 16.5's). The rears are a 6 on 6 pattern. the fronts are probably a different pattern from the 755, but you could just swap the fronts from his rims to yours. May be worth looking at......

    As with my 1988 JD650, parts were becoming far and few between. It was when the FEL bucket needed to be replace that finally sent me into the dealers for a trade. I had patched the bucket 3 or 4 times and figured I had better line up a new one, a new one was nowhere to be found.
    Try here, it's worth a shot Front-End Tractor Loader: Bucket Loader, Tractor Bucket: Westendorf
