    Homemade 3pt hitch

    Worked on making a 3pt hitch this weekend. It's not finished. I have few braces to add and have some hooks to weld on. Then I have to paint it.

    Nice work.

    Looks similar to the one I built, but I used mostly scrap metal.

    You guys and your welders....I can not wait to get my shop built so that I can run out and buy a welder and learn how to weld just to make stuff !!!

    Before you paint it, add gussets between the square tubes.

    I have gussets planned for it just haven't got that far over the weekend. After adding the gussets I shouldn't be able to break it.

    Buying a welder is one of the best purchases I have made. Just make sure to take your time and do your research before buying because there are a ton of different brands out there.
