Frontier 60" Core Aerator (CA2060E) - Anyone own one?

Looking to hear from those that own the either the 48", 60", or 72" version of the Frontier Core Aerator... Frontier CA2060E Core Aerator | Mutton Tractor Attachments - Fort Wayne, IN

    How do you like it?

    Any issues?

Do you have the steel weight tanks? Are they worth the nearly $600 that Deere wants for them?

I have a 72". It's good. If the ground is soft and/or moist, it'll pull nice goose-turd plugs. It's well built.

The steel tanks are ABSOLUTELY NOT worth 600$. I have them, and got them for next to nothing. They're not heavy enough. If you need weight, you're best to cast yourself some concrete blocks that'll fit on the back platforms.

I'm glad I bought mine. I think it's the best value out there for a coring unit. Anything less expensive will be a spiker, not a core-er, and some of the other companies (ie Land Pride) will cost a lot more.
