I just scored a 47" snowblower, quick hitch and shaft kit off of a 2010-12? x744 for $500. Pretty sure it was a 744, it was a 2 wheel drive all wheel steer model and it looked to be older than my 2013 x758. I have a QH and 54" plow blade (used from the dealer) that I've been using since the tractor was new and was told by the dealer it was off a 2305. There is no sticker on my hitch to identify the model, hence why I'm here making this post. I put my hitch and the one that came with the blower side by side and they look the same (other than the blower hitch not having an angle cylinder) and the major mounting points of the hitches all measure the same. Did deere make just one QH for the x700/2300 tractors and then just outfit it with the cylinders it needed for the attachment? Does deere stamp the model on the QH anywhere so if the sticker goes missing it can still be identified? Next is the shaft situation, I know I can't use the 2wd shaft, I need the floater shaft that goes in my front axle, a short shaft that runs from my axle to the blower and the long one that runs from the PTO to the axle. I'll get those online and considering I only spent $500 on the whole setup, I won't mind spending another $500 on shafts considering i have yet to find a complete used setup like this locally for less than $2000. My last question is the blower itself, a 47" 2 stage blower for the QH set up are all one in the same, right? There aren't multiple models of 47" QH snowblowers are there? Thanks for any help, guys. Few pics attached. My original hitch is the one in the pic that has the bar attached on the side to keep the hoses off the front axle/tire.
