    Sicma mle 160

I have narrowed my search to the MLE160. It weighs in at 1014 lbs. Is this mower going to match up to my 4052R or will the MLE120 at 550 lbs be a better fit. I am leaning towards the 160 due to it's weight. My thought is it must be built quite a bit more robust and suited to the tough conditions it will be subjected to. Anyone here have any thoughts or suggestions will be much appreciated. I have a dealer 20 miles from me that helps in choosing the Sigma Phoenix. Thanks, Barry

Do you have open station or cab. You might need the extra weight of the cab. Overall, I do not see a problem. I have the cab 4066R and am using a 1500# RFM or a 1750# 10ft Rhino brush hog without any problems, although I noticed the front end is a little light when using the Rhino without the bucket on the loader. However, I do not push mine out to the side as you would likely be doing here, but your cutting width is not nearly as great as mine, either. You may need to add fluid to the tires and/or wheel weights. I do have the 110# weights per wheel. And remember that the loader, if you have it, adds substantial weight, but maybe not where you need it.

Thanks Dave, the weight out to the side is where I am concerned the most. Dealer has a MLE120 on his lot. It is a very nice mower but I really want the extra reach of the 160 if my tractor is suitable for it. Thanks for your response and sharing your set ups. I'm trying not to make a 6500. Mistake. Barry
