Any woods bb60/bb72x owners? I need a measurement

I managed to royally FUBAR the tail wheel hub and axle bolt/shaft on my bb60x today...

(don't ask. yes, it was greased before use today)

needless to say, i need a new hub and shaft. I plan to order an aftermarket hub with actual bearings as opposed to bushings. I need to know what size to get.

Can someone measure the shaft on theirs?

The new bolt came in from Messick's today. For those wondering, its a 1" bolt. it even came with a new castle nut and cotter pin.

    I some how missed this

I recently bought a used BB72. So will the tail wheel have bushings, not bearings?

    Did you upgrade to bearings?

The stock hub has bushings. I upgraded to an aftermarket hub with bearings.

Source and cost? Sounds like I should do this sooner rather than later.

For some reason there was not a link when I posted
