    260b the same for the1025r and 2025r

I purchased a 2025r tractor backhoe and my dealer has had trouble getting a 260B for my 2025r he tells me he contacted John Deere and the backhoes short of some mounting brackets are the same for the 1025 and 2025 is that true?

It would change my delivery date by a month and I really would like to get the unit now

It seems reasonable that a 260B backhoe is a 260B backhoe. Much like a 120R loader is a 120R loader regardless of the tractor it is mounted to.
    2012 2720 -- 200CX Loader -- 54" Quick Attach Snow Blower -- Frontier LR5060 Rake -- Land Pride RB1660 Blade (Hydraulic Angle) -- Artillian 42" Forks -- Ken's Bolt on Grab Hooks -- Fit Rite Hydraulic top-link -- 2013 X500 for mowing duties

Yes, the two tractors use the same FEL and BH, only the mounting hardware differ.

Yep. Same backhoe with different mounting brackets.
The 120R loader is also the same with different mounting brackets.

I cant say whats different on the 260B, but I can say that the 120R uses different cast uprights but the actual frame mount is the same.
I found that out because my dealer put the ones for the 1025 on mine and it wouldnt sit on the ground.

Say, you wouldnt happen to be the gentleman I replied to on Facebook earlier today would you?

    Either way, welcome to GTT!

As I understand it, the 2025R also uses a bit different Power Beyond kit too, so there are a number of 2025R specific mounting pieces needed in order to mount the backhoe to the tractor.
If they have the tractor, I wonder if they would let you take what they have and install the backhoe later?

Yes there the same just different Brackets as stated above. When I Bought my 2025R took a month to get. I was Just Going to have them Install the Power beyond and send the Tractor out and when the 260B Came in they could do the Initial install later. But they got a Backhoe from another dealer. What actually took the Longest was the 54D deck the Longest just got that about 2 weeks ago ordered the tractor in June

BTW the first Production for the BXpanded 260B Backhoe Dolley Backhoe Storage Dolly JD 260 and 260B Back Hoe for use with the 2025R should be In Production now. They shipped mine Yesterday. I suggest investing in one if Your going to be Taking your Backhoe off a lot . The Current 260B Backhoe Dolley for the 1 series is to short height wise for use on the 2025R
