    JD pallet forks

Bought a set of 42" JD pallet forks for my 1025R Saturday. They sure are a useful attachment.

Which model? Most of the Frontier branded forks (JD does not make any) are way to heavy for a 1-series at near 400 pounds.

Yes, forks are one of a handiest things you can have

Most will agree. It's the most used loader accessory AFTER Ken's hooks and shackles. :-) My tractor is forked up most of the time. :-)

I bought the Frontier AP10F 42" unit. Frontier list the weight @198lbs. which should be about right as I could pick it up with effort.

I also have the Frontier AP10F 42” forks, I did not weight the set but I did pick it up at the dealer and hand load them in the back of my SUV.
    Very happy with them.

The AP10F are the new small lighter forks for the 1 series i take it? Saw them listed but never saw them in person.

The AP10F are targetted towards 1-series and 2-series tractors. The spec out very close to the Artillian forks as far as weight and capacity (at least with 42" tines).

    AP10F: Weight 198 lbs. Capacity 1250 lbs (36") 2000 lbs (42") $746

    Artillian: Weight 197 lbs. Capacity 2300 lbs (36" and 42") $867

The 36" tines seem to be pushing it a bit as the capacity of the tine is very close to the list capacity of the 2-series loader.

These forks are much better suited to the smaller tractors than the AP11 and AP12 frames.

I was able to purchase mine for 626.54 tax included. Seemed to be a fair price, well built and works very well so far. I'm happy and hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have my grapple and BH.
